Hi Everybody
Friday saw us leaving Mildura and heading into South Australia, we crossed the mighty Murray river at Waikerie and headed onto Morgan where we crossed the river again and then crossed back again when we realised we were heading back to where we had come from. Claire will be lucky to make it home alive after Reg took off berfore the conductor had rung the bell and sent her flying onto the floor,if that was not cruel enough we then spilt hot coffee on her and also dropped the head of the radio on her as well.We arrived in Port Augusta around 6.00 p.m. and reviewed a bottle of red wine for dinner. We had a late start on Saturday due to electrical problems with the hot water unit in the van which an auto electrician tried hard to sort out for us.
We got underway about lunchtime and we arrived in the thriving metropolis of Glendambo about 5.30 p.m booked into the caravan park. It has a population of what appears to be around 10 but was swollen tonight with the transient populus to about 18.We head for Coober Pedy on Sunday.

  9. I thought you said you'd look after my Mummy Bear!! Oh well, at least you'll toughen her up for casual relief teaching work when she goes back. I taught 3 year 9 classes and a year 8 class yesterday and they were very (how should I put it?) interesting kids.

Sounds like you're having a brilliant time with lots of new things to see but also time to relax.

Tweek is surviving but going a little nuts from being kept inside. Hopefully the vet says she can go out tomorrow. Meg is her usual snarly self when I keep her in at night and when I let her out in the morning, she'll sit on the table outside so Tweek can see her and rubs it in.

Dylan is good but very busy with lots of jobs for clients all happening at the same time. He's not liking the fact that I have to get up really early every morning for the relief teaching work. We went to an amazing restaurant in St Kilda for our friend Rosa's birthday last night and the food was amazing but really pricey. Toby (Rosa's hubby) paid (thank goodness!) so we definitely owe them dinner sometime.

Can't wait to here more about the adventures of The 4 Jackaroos! Keep the photos coming and stop dropping things on my Mum's head!

    Love Amanda
